SURF OUTLOOK

There's no respite from persistent northerlies and short period NE windswell, but a slow building trend is underway; going from a junky 1 to 2ft along exposed beaches to an even junkier 2ft+ this arvo. Winds are NNW, Northerly up to 15 to 20 knots, tending NNE in the afternoon.

No hurry needed this morning with uninviting onshore northeast winds in to it from before sunrise. Good days for learning to surf in the small waves having a swim as the 1-2ft waves don’t have much push/power behind them, hopefully wave quality will improves with the incoming tide. Onshore northeast winds forecasted to be 5-10 knots throughout the morning expected to increase in afternoon towards 15-20 knots. Enjoy.
