Sunshine Coast Regional Morning Report ( Tuesday 5:16 am) Leftover NE windswell is on the cards this morning, wave height is in the knee to thigh range with the NE facing beaches getting up to waist high. Wave quality is poor to fair depending on location and exposure to the NNW winds currently at around 10 knots plus. The open beach stretches are the go to today with the morning seeing the best of it coupled with the outgoing tide. Pick a bank along the Kawana back beaches and north from Marcoola to Sunshine, the northern pockets are looking the cleanest. Low Tide 9:42am
Rest of Day Outlook: Nothing to look forward to through the day, with the NNW winds strengthening up to 20 knots at times, so expect wave quality to deteriorate with choppy surf conditions in the afternoon. Stick to the northern corners. There is a forecast for a late southerly change. High Tide 4:05pm
