Gold Coast Morning Report, 6.35am Tuesday: Fresh northerly winds remain the thorn in the side of combined east and NE windswells; still fluctuating at a peaky, short period waist to chest high along the exposed beaches, while making a complete mess of it along the points. Northern corners offering up a bit of shelter from the northerly flow will be your best bet. Low was at 6.06am and will fill in to a 1.06pm high.
Rest of the Day: A mix of east and NE windswell hangs in at similar levels throughout the day as fresh north to NNW winds continue to keep a lid on clean options, so think northern corners or just give it a miss. The tide runs back out to a 0.27m low at 7.52pm. Have a good one.
