Sunshine Coast Regional Dawn Patrol Report (Saturda 27t th February 5:57am) Dust off your high volume board as this will be your go to equipment this morning tackling the small waves on offer. The open beaches are looking the best with average wave height in the thigh to waist high range, with surf conditions looking great earlier on under light W-SW winds. Definitely get into it early before the high tide gobbles up the small swell (High Tide Maroochydore 8:07am @2.1m) Pick a bank along the Northern beaches from Mudjimba to Sunshine and along the Kawana stretch, a few fun banks along Maroochydore to be shared with the weekend warrior surf crowd. Forget the points as they will have pretty much lake like surf on offer as that tide continues to roll in, ideal for that beginner surfer out at the Alex Corner.
Rest of the day outlook: No real change through the day except for light onshore Easterly winds to slowly develop and make for slighlty wind affected surf conditions. Wave quality will be fair at most locations maintaining small size with the open beaches being most favourable. All in all it's shaping up to be a great day across the regions beaches, so take advantage of the last weekend of Summer. (Low Tide Marochydore 2:30pm @0.3m) Enjoy your day in the waves. Spinksy
