Sunshine Coast Regional Morning Report ( Thursday 5:35 am) The primary SSE swell continues to produce wave height up into the thigh to stomach size on the open beaches with the south facing magnets being that touch bigger. Surf conditions are reasonable earlier on, being a little ruffled from the overnight SE winds, with the morning light WSW winds trying to clean it up. The incoming tide is starting to swallow the outer banks and inside those southern corners, where there is a smaller cleaner wave on offer. Best options on the northern beaches are Coolum and the Bays, Marcoola south to Twin Waters. The waves along Maroochydore south to Alex, are smaller than the northern beaches, and being more full and slow from the early high tide, with similar conditions on the south coast from Dickys north to Currimundi. High Tide 5:41am.

Rest of Day Outlook: Surf conditions will deteriorate as the winds will freshen from the SE then East through the day, making for wind affected waves on the exposed locations. I'd make the most of the earlier surf conditions coupled with the outgoing tide with Low Tide at 11:48pm.  As the tide fills back in through the afternoon, the open beaches will have the most size, with waves being more uneven and lumpy, with cleaner smaller surf in the southern corners. High Tide 5:28pm
