  • Swell analysis

Fading ESE swell gives way to a building trend in NE windswell throughout Saturday, leading in small, clean and peaky surf from the NE on Sunday morning. Moderate to fresh NW winds precede a strong and gusty SSE change on Sunday afternoon, leading in a short-lived peak in south windswell in the 3-4ft range across southern exposures on Monday morning.

Short-Term Analysis (through Monday 30 November)

Sunday: Short period NE windswell peaks early, up to chest to head-high along the more exposed open beaches in the morning, and gradually fading ahead of a late rise in southerly windswell. Hot NW to NNW winds at 10-20 knots, ahead of a gusty 25-35kt southerly, SSE change in the afternoon.

Monday: Short range southerly swell peaks early and rapidly eases during the day, under a pattern of early light SE winds, turning east to NE 10-15 knots in the afternoon and evening.

Long Term Analysis (Monday 30 November and beyond)
