Big News For Australia's Favourite Surf App

26 Apr 2016 2 Share

After a long-standing relationship with Hurley, we’re stoked to announce an exciting update to the No.1 Surf App in Australia.

SurfStitch and Coastalwatch have embarked on a brand new partnership that includes a rebranding of the existing iOS app.

SurfStitch emerged in 1999 as the first online action sports retailer in the world, and today, they continue their ‘first in surf’ tradition. The global company is redefining the online retail experience and enhancing customer engagement levels. They have begun to create a bridge between e-commerce and action sports content, recently acquiring global online media hubs Stab, Magic Seaweed and Garage Entertainment.

You’ll notice that there will now be a couple of branding adjustments to the look and feel of the app; including a name change to the SurfStitch Surf Check app and a new icon on your homepage. Both changes will take effect from the end of April 2016.

In addition, we’ll be bringing you exclusive offers, member-only benefits on SurfStitch’s online store, and some fresh content from the SurfStitch group.

Rest assured, nothing will change in the way we currently provide our digital services. We see this partnership as an exciting new phase for you, our loyal app users. Importantly, these branding and design changes will not affect the main function of the app, nor do they mean any additional cost to you.

We look forward to the new opportunity that lies ahead and the increased improvements to your favourite surf app. Coastalwatch will continue to own and operate the app and guarantee a premium quality service.
