The 2020 Manly Kombi Rally Registration and Info

Add your beloved Kombi to the epic parade of retro vans making their way in convoy along the Manly beachfront for the annual Manly Kombi Rally this March, a part of the festivities of the Sydney Surf Pro, New South Wales biggest surf event.

Setting off from Tania Park, Balgowlah Heights, the iconic vans will make their way to South Steyne where they will stop for display between Wentworth St and Manly Life Saving Club.

Don’t miss a chance to be a part of this special annual event held in conjunction with the Sydney Surf Pro.

Meeting Time: 7.30am – 8:15am (you will be given an exact meeting time closer to the event) 
Departure Time from Balgowlah: from 8.30am (Kombis will depart in waves of 10 cars) 
Departure Time from Manly: 4:30pm sharp

Terms & Conditions of Entry 

General – The following Conditions of Entry shall apply to all persons, within vehicles, participating ‘Participants’ in the 2019 Manly Kombi Rally ‘The Rally’. By participating in The Rally, all Participants agree to be bound by these Conditions of Entry. On entering The Rally, Participants are deemed to have accepted these Condition of Entry. Participants agree to comply with all signs, instructions and directions issued by the Manly Business Chamber and Event & Sports Projects Australia (ESPA) (including its contractors, sponsors or agents) and NSW Police. All instructions and directions relating to any Conditions of Entry, whether communicated by the Manly Business Chamber (including its contractors, sponsors or agents) and NSW Police must be strictly adhered to at all times. This includes anything that has been considered unacceptable, unsafe or reduces the comfort or The Rally experience generally, for other persons. These Conditions of Entry should be read in conjunction with the Drivers Fact Sheet.

Road status –The Rally vehicle route is a ‘Public Place’ with all roads throughout considered Roads or Road Related Areas, Therefore subject to local, state and federal motor legislation. Drivers are expected to follow all instructions, drive at walking pace and to obey any road rules at all times, where instructed, specifically at starting and finishing points.

Liability – Viewing and Participation of / in The Rally and associated motor sport activities can be dangerous and may result in injury. Participants enter at their own risk. Use of participants vehicles and any personal items within, are at their own risk and owners assume all risk of any damage or loss (including property damage, personal injury, economic and consequential loss) however it arises during The Rally. The Manly Business Chamber will not be held responsible for any damage to, loss or theft of a Participants vehicles or personal property. To the extent permitted by law, Participants release the Manly Business Chamber (including its contractors and agents and their directors, officers, employees, consultants, contractors, agents, sponsors and volunteers), from any liability for any damages, loss, liability or injury they may suffer or incur, relating to or arising out of your attendance or Participation within The Rally, however caused, including without limitation due to any negligence or other act or omission.
