Forecaster Blog Updated: Tropical Cyclone Gretel Develops This Weekend

The imminent development of Tropical Cyclone Gretel over the Coral Sea this weekend holds no-shortage of ESE and SE swell-potential for southern Queensland – but it’s looking increasingly likely the system won’t have any dramatic impact across the southern half of the NSW coast. The various atmospheric models capturing the cyclone’s evolution are now falling into step, lending increasing confidence to the forecast over the next four to five days.
