Beaver tails, crossovers and high fives. It could only be Byron Bay Surf Festival! That’s right, the Northern Rivers favourite surfing event returns to Byron Bay for another sun-kissed weekend of wave sliding activities February 22-25, 2018.

The Bay will be popping with energy over the four days as artists, creatives, riders, lovers and musicians make the pilgrimage up the highway for a full weekend of froth. The event kicks off on Thursday at the Byron Bay Community Centre Theatre, as Surfing World editor Vaughan Blakey sits down with the great thinkers of surf innovation to discuss our weird and wonderful culture.

Friday continues on with the NEW Free Radicals surf jam featuring shorter high-performance alternative surf crafts and the current leaders in radical surfing set to blow minds. The Surf Art Show will feature Tim Kerr (USA), Otis Carey and Ozzie Wright at Lone Goat Gallery followed by the family-friendly Sunset Cinemon the grass at Denning Park with a range of short and feature films to be announced in the New Year.

Saturday’s Surf Art Markets will feature a range of the finest surfboard craftsmen, environmental groups, activism workshops, leading fashion brand’s, artists, creators, and workshops to keep you busy. Tickets are selling fast!
