Cronulla based charger Caleb Mclean and his filmer bro Jamin are mad frothers. Caleb is pretty much obsessed by weather maps. He is forever scanning forecasting websites planning his next surf.

Caleb has built quite an underground reputation in the last decade or so charging his local haunts like Cronulla Point, Shark Island, Cape Solander and Voodoo at serious size. He also occasionally makes the trek down to Shippies whenever a swell co incides with a bit of time off work too. His most recent 4 days off was a little more extreme.

Caleb called into the new Perfect Wave Cronulla office on Wednesday June 27 enquiring about accommodation at Keyhole Nias and flights. By Saturday he was posting photos of himself pulling into 10ft pits at Nias. A bunch of Big Wave Dave’s jetted in from all over the world to get a taste of Lagundri that infamous final weekend in June 2015.’

Jamin captured some pretty good looking highlights include Caleb getting axed on a late, late drop, Rasta ruling in oh so casual mode, Anthony Walsh’s effortless backhand tube riding and Alex Gray drawing clean lines.
