How To Bodysurf & Get Barrelled On A Crazy Slab Wave

A solid crew of local bodysurfer, Nick Brbot, Paul Khodor and Jake Rosenbrock scored awesome 3-5 foot kegs to themselves at the infamous Cape Solander at the end of June. For 2 incredible hours, as all other surfcraft had descended on another nearby slab reef the guys took turns, wave-for-wave bodysurfing one of the most intense slab waves.
Rosenbrok said "I thoroughly enjoy the lack of the stress that comes with playing the hassle game with bigger, pointier surf craft whose pilots often don't take us seriously. By the end of the morning, I think we all had a most epic session. I certainly had one of my all time bodysurfing sessions, and also made what was probably my best bodysurfing barrel ever! Big call for me, but with the rocks so close by, the critical factor is sky high. It was definitely my most heart-pounding bodysurf ever. Still thoroughly stoked a week later."
